Florida Railroad Adventure Saturday, October 31, 2009

Florida Railroad Adventure Saturday, October 31, 2009

It is time to visit Farmer Brown's Pumpkin Patch on the Great Pumpkin Limited. Sarah, mom, Mrs. Shannon, Wyatt and I boarded the comfortable train at the Florida Railroad Station in Eustis Florida, for an hour and fifteen minutes train adventure.

We barely made the adventure because mom got lost but with the help of Mrs. Shannon we made it in the nick of time. Thank goodness we made it because mom would of been dealing with two very, very unhappy children. CHO CHO!!!!! By the way everyone.... MOM NEEDS A GPS!
All Aboard! We finally found a seat! at first we thought we would not be able to sit with our friends. As we continued to search for seats, a nice family gave up their seats so we could be together. As soon as we sat down mom spilt her drink all over the floor. I guess she was still shaken up about getting lost and almost missing the train.

Now the fun begins. Adam and I are enjoying the view and waving to all the people.

Look how fast we are going.

I did not have much to say during the train ride but I sure did take in everything.

We made it to Farmer Browns Pumpkin Patch. Wyatt and I were amazed by all the pumpkins and activities! Did I forget to mention that it is October 31st and 90 something degrees out. We are going to fry!

Adam was not to sure about the Scarecrow so I stood by his side. I love this picture Sarah is such a great sister!

Wyatt and his Duck!

My sword popped five minutes after I got it because I kept hitting it against the grass. Not to sure what type of arrangement my sister got.

I just love animals.

By this time I was hot, thirsty and getting a little tired. I gave my mom a hard time about getting on the tractor but she insisted she needed a picture.

Here I come full force ahead. Check out my muscle power!

I am kinda getting used to horses and ponies, and I should considering the month of October every place we have been has had them.

I did it! I touched the rooster. Monkey see Monkey do!

I found the perfect pumpkin. Now I am ready to hop aboard this train.

I found my pumpkin and yes, it is as big as me.

Once we arrived back to the train station Wyatt, Adam and I decided to cool off, use the restroom and play with some trains. After about thirty minutes of fun, we headed home to take naps so we would be ready for Trick or Treating. The experience was great and can't wait to go on another train ride soon. Maybe we will come back in December to ride the Polar Express. Adam would love that!

Fall Carnival at Page Private School October 30, 2009

Fall Carnival At Page Private School October 30, 2009What a great day! I get to enjoy the Fall Carnival at my school. This is my third year attending the carnival and I am ready to show off my glass slippers. Yep that is right, this year I am going as Cinderella. I was one years old and dressed as a witch the first time I attended the event. At that time I was not old enough to attend school yet, so dad and I just hung out with moms Kindergarten class. Last year I dressed up as a pirate and was able to participate in the carnival with my class.

Dad took a picture of me standing outside my classroom. I was voted October's student of the month.

My classmates from the 3's class. We are getting ready to show off our bowling skills.

Cotton candy in one hand and ready to spin the wheel to find out what goodies I can add to my Halloween bag!

Attempting to put my hands in slim. Not to sure about this activity, so I few fingers should do the job. Yep, it did and with a little effort I found a spider.

For the last five years mom has dresses up as a fire fighter. My friends and her class went crazy seeing her in it. Every year she has a blast listening to how excited everyone is about her costume. Wait now... lets not forget about the princesses. Yep me.... don't you love my glass slippers.

I have no fear. This spider is almost as big as me. Thank goodness it is not real!

The train ride is by far the most exciting activity. I love the bounce house and all the goodies, like the cotton candy but if I was aloud, I would ride on the train the entire carnival.

This activity is new. A dunking booth! That's right, well kinda, if you hit the ball correctly than the hose will squirt all over the person sitting in the chair. Guess what happened after I threw the ball? That's right, the person in the chair got really wet! I may be a princess but I have a killer arm!

Bounce houses are always fun but they are not as much fun when it deflates while playing inside of them. Don't worry I did not get stuck because there were so many parents flipping out, that I think eight arms saved just me. My mom did not have enough time to take the photo of the bounce house deflating because she was one of the many parents trying to rescue the other children stuck inside at the top of the slide.
I had a great day and can't wait to see what next years carnival brings.

Class Field Trip Green Meadows Farm Thursday, October 29, 2009

Green Meadows Farm Thursday, October 29, 2009

Who would want to miss a class field trip to Green Meadows Farm? Not me! I have been coming to this place since I was one years old. October seems to be the time of year to attend because of the fall weather and the pumpkin patch.
As soon as we got off the bus we had lunch. Turkey and cheese sandwhiches my favorite but forget the bread!

Check out mom helping her class out.

2009 I am three years old!

2008 I am two years old! Mom tried to find my one year old photo taken at this same location but just can't seem to put her hands on it.

I had a lot of fun chasing the Turkeys around. Got U Now!

Another pony ride. Mom told me every year I become more confidenat about riding the pony.

Page Private School Preschool - Kindergarten watching the worker show us how to milk a cow.

I did it! I did it! I milked the cow! This is the first time I have had the courage to do it! Three cheers for me!

I just love feeding the animals... don't worry I wash my hands really, really, good!

Mom loves this photo of daddy and I!

I am so brave! I even picked him up all by myself!

I just love animals, who knows maybe I will be a Vet one day. The field trip was a blast and I can't wait to visit again in 2010 when I am four years old! I am so happy my mom and dad could be with me on this great day!

Painting and Carving Pumpkins October Fun 2009

Painting and Carving Pumpkins October Fun 2009We have so many pumpkins at our house we are not sure what to do with them. Sarah has two and I have two. Mom thought it would be a good idea for Sarah and I to paint our small pumpkins and carve our big ones. I am so proud of myself because I painted this all by myself.
My pumpkin is painted and decorated with cotton balls.
Who wants to carve a pumpkin? Let the adventure begin! My dad cut the top of the pumpkin open so Adam and I could clean the pumpkin out. I had no desire to stick my hands inside the pumpkin, instead I asked for a BIG spoon.
Team work! I scooped with the spoon while mom pulled everything out! By the way, my mom loves this photo of us.
Yum Yum! Yep I decided to take a mouth full of pumpkin guts right as mom took the picture. Don't worry I spit it out instantly and drank like an entire cup of water after that experience. So much for having my big sister Sarah by my side, she did not even worn me but instead she just watched me inhale a big bite.
I love getting dirty! My parents should know by now that when they give me a spoon I assume it is time to eat. Don't worry Mr. Bear stayed cleaned as a whistle.
I took this picture of my mom and dad! They said I did a great job. Who knows maybe I'll be a photographer like Ms. Shannon one day!
While my dad did all the carving, mom got Sarah and I into the tub. Sarah and I had to take a shower after our bath because the bottom of the tub was filled with pumpkin guts and seeds. In the middle of getting Sarah and I dressed dad came into our room to show us his work of art. He did a really good job on the pumpkin and once the lights went out, I yelled WOW! I am so glad I picked the haunted castle.
My dad did a great job. I wanted the pumpkin to sleep with me but mom and dad would not bite on that one. Instead we put it outside for all our neighbors to see. I can't wait until daddy and I work on my princess pumpkin later in the week.

Zoo Boo Bash Sunday, October 25, 2009

I have attended the Zoo Boo Bash the last three years and always have fun. This year my friend Wyatt joined Adam and I. The Zoo Boo Bash is a safe place for kids to trick or treat and see animals. This year the zoo added a bounce house for us to enjoy.
This is my Second year attending Zoo Boo Bash! I was only seven months old and don't remember a heck of a lot.

Sarah and I hanging out in front of the zoo waiting for our friend Wyatt and Ms. Shannon.

I can't go to the zoo without riding the carousel that is located out side the entrance.

All smiles!

The Grand Entrance! This Halloween blow up is new.

I have no fear of snakes. I was not even one when I touch a snake for the first time.

Wyatt and I are listening and looking at a guy telling silly jokes.

This year they had eight stations for us to trick or treat at. Each station offered different things, some candy and other trinkets.

A haunted house that made noises when running in and out of it. I am very intrigued by the man dressed up outside the house.

While everyone was bouncing in the house I decided to spend time fastening all the buttons so no one would escape.

I finally made it into the bounce house because the young man who was in charge had all the crazy children leave. The boy who was in charge of the bounce house kept a tight ship and did not put up with anything.

I decided to keep a hold of Ms. Shannon's purse while we were putting on our shoes and moving on to elephants and lunch. I think her purse weighs about as much as me, what and the word does she have in this thing? My backpack is lighter than this.

Another great day with our really great friends, Wyatt and Ms. Shannon. Can't wait to see what next weekend has to offer. Adam and I just hope we can spend it with our friends.
On our way out I got to ride the CHO CHO but for some reason mom did not have any photos of me on the train adventure. Next time I guess!
