Macy's 3rd Birthday Party Saturday, October 11, 2008 Today was another wild and crazy day. We went to my friend Macy's third birthday party and they had the biggest slide I have ever seen. After the party my friend Jillian and I had a sleep over. Birthday girl enjoying her day!
Wyatt and me having the time of our life. The doll you see in my hand is Macy's but I would not let it out of my sight. Why you may ask, because it was a mermaid and we all know how I am crazy about mermaids. The birthday gang hanging on for dear life. I am a little sad because I can't join in on the excitement. I guess I'll just continue to watch for a few more hours. 1, 2, 3 go!
Animals and all. Everyone thought it would be fun to slide down on or with the animals. Look at Wyatt, he is so cute. He looks like he is going to leap down the slide. Can you say Traffic Jam! More action. I have never had so much fun! My first sleep over. I had so much fun with my friend Jillian Snug as a bug in a rug or should I say on the rug!
On Saturday, we had a community garage sale. Mom became a little emotional watching all the baby stuff go bye bye. I think it finally hit her that she was not having any more children. Smiling like always and once again everyone who came to the garage sale could not stop talking about how cute I am. They also could not get over that I am turning 7 months tomorrow, Sunday, October 5th. By the way I am crawling all over. I really like the army crawl the best. This garage sale sure has done me in. I decided to take a break and next thing I know, I am out like a light. Mom could not resist taking a photo. On Sunday, October 5th. mom took Adam and I to the mall so we could give daddy a break so he could study for the lieutenants exam. While at the mall I took a train ride.
Today we packed up and headed to the beach. This was my first time at the beach and I loved every minute of it. As a matter of fact, I liked it so much I fell asleep thirty minutes after we arrived. The sound of the ocean waves were so soothing, who could resist a cat nap! My sister actually went into the ocean and did not even cry when a wave got her. Heading into the deep blue see with my da da. Watching the water all around me. Once again I was the center of attention because everyone on the beach could not stop looking at me. Everyone said "he is so cute"
Fun in the sun. Don't worry grandma I have a hat to cover my little head, mom just took it off for the photo. Trying to build a sand castle but the water keeps destroying it. Help mommy!
A picture is worth a thousand words and this photo says it all. Look at me mommy, I did it! The wave got me oh no! My turtle!
Today I met my friends Jillian and Wyatt at the zoo. After the zoo I went home and took a nap. After nap I headed over to my friend Emily's house to swim. Hanging out on the turtle. The three Amigos, Jillian, Sarah and Wyatt, looking for a leopard. My mom loves this photo. Feeding the fish and the turtle. The three Amigo's going for a ride. Splash ground fun! I am trying to keep up with Wyatt but he is way to fast for me.
Thanks Gerry for the treat. Yum Yum! I was eager to join my friends, so Gerry took a few snap shots of me hanging out on a gator. Look how well I am sitting up. More Gator fun! Taking in all the action!
Swimming at Emily's house. I can do it, I can jump all by myself!
1, 2, 3 Jump! I am jumping to Mr. Steven, Emily's daddy. Look at how high I am! Mr. Steven and Emily who is a daddy's girl! Hanging out with Mr. Steven. Thanks for letting me jump to you a million and one times. Look at how high I am! Don't worry Adam came along to, he is on the side lines watching me go crazy. Once I got up enough nerve to jump, I became the energizer bunny. Mom says I jump for an hour straight.
I am taking a class called Gym Buddies at my school. Gym Buddies is a mobile gymnastic company for young children. We learn the balance beam, trampoline, vault, floor exercises, bar and rings. I really enjoy the class considering I no longer go to The Little Gym, now that it has closed. I go to gym buddies every Monday and this week my teacher took a few photos for mom and to add to the blog.
Using my listening ears and mom would be very proud of me. Listening to every word the teacher has to say. I am also having fun with my friends Aiden and Gabriella.
Today was a very busy day. Right when we woke up, mom and I made the finally touch ups to my friend Jillian's birthday gift. Her party was yesterday but the gift we are making for her, has taken a little longer than we expected. Gerry and Jillian came over in the mid afternoon so Jillian could open her gift. We made her a big, big, big princess blanket. My second cousin made me a blanket similar to the one we made Jillian and I love it. Gerry and Jillian really liked it too, so we thought what a great gift to give Jillian. Now see, this was our first adventure in making the blanket. The only information we had to go by was the model of my blanket and the few pointer's the Jo Ann sale lady gave us. All in all, mom and I think it came out very nice. In fact, I wanted to keep it for myself. Since mom and I did such a great job, we are officially going to make this a side business. (Thanks Gerry for the great idea). In fact mom has already sold one to a co-worker. If your interested just let us know and we will get right to work. After Gerry and Jillian left we went to the fire station. Pictures to follow! Look at my earrings mommy! Playing dress up with my friend Jillian! Gillian and I snug as a bug in her new blanket. The famous blanket. More shots. Mommy can email sizes, prices and patters she can make. They sure would make great Christmas and birthday gifts.
A Day At The Fire Station Sunday, September 21, 2008
Today we went to visit daddy at the fire station and did we have fun. Mommy is in the process of scheduling a station visit for all the Moxie Mom friends and I can't wait! Jr. Firefighter Chorak How do you work this thing? In the spot light again! For some reason I did not want anything to do with the fire truck I just stood back and let Adam have all the fun. Having fun watching my brother on the truck!
This blog will hopefully keep everyone up to date with all of our fun filled activities. Please feel free to write a comment under each post. Enjoy!
I am a proud mother of two wonderful children. My Daughter Sarah Marie was born on March 20, 2006 and my son Adam Robert born on March 5, 2008. I am a full time working mom, who teaches kindergarten. I have been married for eight years to my loving husband Chad. He is a dedicated father and husband. He also takes pride working as a fire fighter. We never thought parenthood could be so enjoyable! The best part about being parents is watching our children reach their milestones!
