Sarah's Last Little Gym Class! Adams 4 month Appointment

Some of you may be aware that The Little Gym in Oviedo has been up for sale for some time. The bad news is, two weeks ago the owner's decide to close the Little Gym due to the economy not doing so hot. This means Miss Stacey, my teacher and all the other employees at the Gym have two weeks to find a job! To help Miss Stacey out, my mom and dad are going to have her babysit Adam and I. If anyone is interested, everything at the gym is 50 to 75 percent off. Mommy bought me my first gymnastics outfit and as a matter of fact, all the girls in my class bought them to wear during our last class. Enjoy the photos of my last class!

What happened at my last gym class? First, I let myself drop from the very top monkey bar. (Check out the videos) For a second I was a little taken back by what had happened once my 24 pound body hit the mat, then moments later; I just broke out hysterically laughing and yelling again, again, again daddy! For only being two years old, everyone says I have no fear! As the class continued, we all gathered into a circle to sing a song introducing ourselves. Which of course I usually say hello Sarah, mommy and Chad but this time I called mommy Jennifer. Daddy and mommy have never heard me say Jennifer before. To say it so clearly, not only shocked my parents but everyone in the group. As we all know I have been calling daddy, Chad for some time now; mommy says that is because Chad is an easy name to say, daddy says it is because mommy constantly says his name. Last but not least I had to say good bye to my friends but I know I will see them again. Now that one door has closed, another door has opened. I will begin tumbling classes on Saturdays at the YMCA and will keep everyone posted on what tumbling is like!

I had my four month appointment on Tuesday, July 8th. I was very good for the nurse and doctor that was until I received four shots. The pediatrician said I am a healthy four month old and am meeting all the milestones for my age group, which includes laughing, rolling over, smiling, reaching my arms and hands out to grasp items; as well as holding my head up without any support. I weight 14 pounds 10 ounces(50 percentile) my weight did drop a little because I have been fighting a cold and do not want to eat as much as usual. I am 26 inches long (90 percentile) and my head is 16 inches (20 percentile). My next appointment is at six months (September 8th) and by that time I should be starting cereal if not before!
Break down from two months old to four months old (See above for four months information.
Two Months:
Weight 10 pounds 8 ounces (25%)
Height 24 inches (90%)
Head 15 inches (20%)

Well I told everyone I would keep them posted on moms work out program. She goes to the gym six days a week and loves to attend the spinning classes. As a matter of fact she has joined Le Tour de France. Let me explain... The YMCA spin class is following what the Tour de France is doing. For example, if the tour is riding all up hill than the class is riding all up hill. Each class mommy attends she moves forward two levels; there are 21 levels all together. Now, those who complete all 21 levels before the 27th have a chance to win spin shoes, a bike seat cover, and so much more. Mom has made it to level 8 and is sooo determined to finish the tour. Wish her luck!

Happy 4th of July

Our day was packed full of adventure. First, we went to the YMCA, mommy and daddy worked out while I did art projects and played musical chairs in the child development center. Baby Adam just watched from the swing as all the crazy kids were having fun. Oh, let me back up for a moment. For those of you who do not know, mom and dad decided to join the YMCA about two weeks ago. The Y is a perfect fit for our family and also gives mommy a chance to loose weight before Joys wedding. Yes, that is right Joy is finally getting married and mommy is soooo excited. (Joy has been my moms’ friend since high school so about 15 years).

Mom and dad are doing so well on Weight Watchers and working out everyday. As a matter of fact, mommy took a "spin" class the other night for the first time. She would have never done it if it weren't for our neighbor Tiffany and my friend Emily's mom Renee. They did a great job setting her up on the bike and from the sounds of it mom loved the ride. She told daddy he has to try it, well that was until today because her legs were so sore. Don't worry I will keep everyone posted on her progress! Now back to the Fourth of July adventures. Daddy promised me he would take me into the big pool at the Y once he finished working out. By the photos you will see I had a blast! Baby Adam and mommy just watched from the side lines as I laughed, kicked, and splashed. After we left the Y we all had lunch and took a nap in order to prepare for the fire work show Mr. Troy and daddy put on at Mr. Pete's house.

What really went down on the 4th of July? Just picture what Fourth of July is like with all fire fighters! Well, imagine watermelons being blown up, lots of smoke and fires being put out. This year I was not as interested in the sparklers and I had to sit on my mommy's lap because I did not like the loud boom booms. I did enjoy repeating the cheer "fire cracker, fire cracker boom, boom,” which I learned from my friends. As the night went on I became more comfortable and started to clap and shout more fire crackers! Enjoy the photos!

Weekend Fun!

Last weekend we went to my friends Maddy's pool party. All and all it was a relaxing weekend! Da Da and I just don't want to get out of bed!
We are only 16 days apart.I love Maddy's kitchen. I played with it for hours.
Bye bye mom!
A swing from a tree how cool is this! Maddy sure does have a lot of cool toys!
It is hard to see but there is a slide on the right side of the picture. After climbing up and down the slide about twenty times, I finally got enough courage and slid down the slide. From that point on, I continued to slide on my side, belly and head first!

8 Year Anniversary

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY
8 Years
These are the flowers Chad gave to me on our anniversary!

It is hard to believe that on June 3oth Chad and I celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary. I couldn't of asked for a better anniversary, a steak dinner on the grill, flowers and an exchange of cards along side a two year old and a three month old. Although this experience was very different than what Chad and I are used to, we really enjoyed being with our children. We both had a chance to reflect on how far we have come as individuals, a couple and parents.

Now don't get me wrong, we are still going to celebrate without any kids attached to the hip once we are in Ohio. Our plans are to camp at Houston Woods or Whinten Woods, depending on availability and canoeing options. The kids are staying with the grandparents, which of course they don't mind one bit. If it was up to grandma Denise and grandpa Bob, Chad and I could leave the kids with them everyday during our visit. Basically, the grandparents want the kids to themselves and Chad and I are all for that, considering we have no family in Florida. The trip will hopefully meet all our needs!

Three Months Old and Fifteen Pounds!

I finally have the floor! You read it right... I am fifteen pounds! Two weekends ago my sister was not feeling so hot and we had to go to the doctor. While we were there I was checked out as well. Can you say.... I am going to be big like my da da! My four month birthday is this Saturday can you believe it? Don't forget to wish me a happy birthday! I have my four month doctors appointment on June 9th and mommy and daddy have bets on how much they think I am going to weight. Don't forget to place your votes in the comment section at the bottom of the page. I think everyone is also eager to find out how long I am as well. We will keep you posted! Until then enjoy the photos! By the way... I am going on my first airplane ride. I am going to Ohio to be Baptised in less than two weeks. My grandma Denise is praying I will fit in the christening gown that has been in my family for more than 100 years. If the dress does not fit my grandma will just lay it on top of me for photos!

Three Month Facts!

Mom says: I am a wonderful baby! As long as I am fed, have a clean diaper and get to cat nap, I am happy as a clam. Everyone loves my smile and says I smile all the time. I have been sleeping through the night for about a month now. I am no longer nursing because I require to much food, like 8oz already. My mom could not keep up with my demand, especially once she returned to work in May. I have found my feet and love to hold them. I have just started to roll over. I love my thumb but sometimes take a pacifier. I love to laugh out loud and be tickled but most of all my belly laughs are what make mommy cry! I enjoy going to MiMi (Miss Anna's the lady who watches me). I do not sleep as much as I should because I don't want to miss anything. I really have a blast watching the kids in the pool but what is up with everyone touching my head. Mi Mi really needs to get those kids under control. Until next time!

We went to a swim party at my sisters friends Maddy house. This was my first time in a swing. Well besides the one in my house!
Overall man! Don't ask me why the fire truck is upside down. That could be why this outfit was on the clearance rack at Gymboree. Grandma and mommy should of looked a little closer before buying it! All the ladies still thought I looked too cute in it though.

I found my toes and can't get enough of them!
I no longer sleep in the same bed as my mom and dad. I now sleep in a bassinet next to my moms side of the bed. After the Ohio trip my sister is moving into her big girl bed and I am taking her crib. Wish me luck or should I say wish my sister luck!
The beginning stages of me rolling over. I made it all the way over the other day.
Listening to my sister read me the story Brown Bear Brown Bear! She can really read the entire story!
Watching everyone swim at Mi Mi's. I love hanging out in my diaper and playing ball!
I love my thumb can't you tell!
